The Munchkins, Elves And Lions have been doing lots of experiments this week. We have been trying to see how many gems we can balance on a piece of foil until it sinks to the bottom. The maximum number of gems we have managed to get is 12!
We have also tried to balance coins on top of a floating orange, this prompted lots of conversation about balance and floating/sinking.
