The Lions room have had a particularly busy morning! A couple of the children noticed how windy it was outside. 'Its so windy!' 'We could fly a kite!' They said!
This led to a spontaneous unplanned activity of making and flying our kites! The children were so engaged and focused for a long period of time decorating their kite and adding string etc! We had lots of fun running around the garden watching the wind lift the kites into the air! When we came in we read the story Rosie Hat as its about a very windy day!
