Today the Tigers have enjoyed making ice creams with sensory resources.
We used cornflakes, for the large cone, mouldable soap for the ice cream and coloured rice for the sprinkles.
We added real ice cream cones, spoons, scoops and a stand for the Tigers to make their creations.
This activity promoted lots of descriptive vocabulary, such as;
"Making ice cream cones"
The children used their motor skills to scoop, tip and pour and they reflected on past experiences of eating ice cream.
The Tigers will be making real ice cream as a follow up activity.
