Wiggly Worms

Today in Baby Bears we spotted a worm in the garden, all the children showed interest and came over to have a look.

Becca picked the worm up for the children to see and some of the children wanted to hold the worm themselves. They laughed as it wiggled in their hands "Wiggling" "Funny" "Wiggly worm". We then extended this activity by looking for more bugs/insects - We found lots of woodlouse and some snails. The bears were very brave and all attempted to hold the different insects, some of the children noticed the snail inside his shell "Look" "Bubbles" "Yuck". All the children were very engaged and showed great enjoyment with this activity.
