Outdoor play allows children the opportunity to explore and investigate the outside environment and extend learning, often on a larger scale. The outside environment is set up on a daily basis and covers the 7 areas of learning.
Our Outdoor Kitchen
We have recently created a mud kitchen in the nursery garden to ensure that the children could experience for themselves the joys of mud!
Our mud kitchen will support young children’s curiosity and natural desire to imagine, create, discover, explore and has become an integral part of our continuous provision. Open-ended play allows time for the children to spontaneously explore their environment.
OUTDOOR PLAY....
Children at the setting have access to outside play on a daily basis. Our toddler and preschool rooms allow for free flow to the outside environment so children can independently access their learning either inside or outside and will therefore meet all individual learning styles.
