Bright Stars Childcare and Education Ltd is comprised of two separate sites in Westbury. Bright Stars Nursery opened in April 2008 in The White Horse Children’s Centre and cares for children from 0-5 years. We quickly developed an excellent local reputation and we soon expanded into a second premises. The Preschool opened in March 2012 and is situated in very close proximity to the nursery, offering care for children from the age of 2 years.

We benefit from a good central location in Westbury and have good links with all the local primary schools within the town.

Both settings share the same vision and ethos and are managed by the same team. The two settings work very closely together, often joining together for activities such as fun days and share resources and facilities.

Between the two sites, we offer full-day care between 8am-6pm. We open for 51 weeks of the year, only closing on bank holidays and a week at Christmas. We understand the importance of flexible childcare and we offer a variety of sessions, from full-time to part time. We are proud to offer a term-time only option, supporting those parents who don’t need childcare during school holidays.

We strive to provide the best possible childcare and education for the children in our care and pride ourselves on providing flexible, affordable childcare that meets the needs of the community we serve.

We have a highly qualified and skilled team of practitioners with a low turnover of staff which enables us to provide consistent and effective relationships with our children and parents.

We have achieved an Outstanding rating from Ofsted for our last three inspections and continually strive to offer the very best childcare.

We value our partnerships with parents and carers and aim to work together to ensure we produce happy and confident learners.  We are committed to giving every child opportunity to achieve the highest of standards within their care, learning and development. We do this by taking account of children’s varied life experiences and individual needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and have high expectations for all children.

We promote individuality, irrespective of ethnicity, attainment, age, disability, gender or background.

All staff working with the children have a paediatric first aid certificate as well a wealth of other qualifications and training.
